There will also be times when we believe in ideas and want to give them a chance in the wild, and we ask that you be understanding as we try them out. The Live team is all about growth and iteration. We build and support some fun content, but there will be times when things don’t go as planned or where something we tried didn’t land well.
If someone invests their time or money in the game, they should understand what they’re getting and that it will be worth more than the investment. Everyone should enjoy their time in Halo Infinite. Think of all the games we’ve all played that have random rewards, ask people to play a way they hate just for a new shiny, or weaponize FOMO against the player. There will be limited-time events, but we don’t want to turn free time into a chore. We’re not all about that. Halo Infinite needs to be a place where we all look forward to spending time. We’re not trying to build a grind-machine that burns everyone out in an attempt to get more game time from them. We want everyone to play the game in a healthy manner that they enjoy.
They are very easy to make for a pro and they could spice up the game a lot. I also would like to make people, especially modders, care about this kind of interface mods. I am no modder, and this was created when I decided that just tampering with some numbers in the GECK wasn't enough anymore. To the MK117 Prototype Combat Armor team, can't even begin to express how I appreciate your work. To the Project Nevada team, go give 'em some well deserved kudos if you didn't already I'll also give you access to my Photoshop source files and presets.
You MAY edit these files if you think you did better than me, or if you think you could, then PM me and you'll become co-author of the mod with me, taking my same credit. Instead, put a link to this page on your description. You may NOT upload this packaged in a mod package or compilation. I'll do it where I want once I think it's ready. You may NOT reupload this file elsewhere. Unfortunately, the texture conversion messes them up pretty bad, so all that eye candy will not be added until I find someone good enough with Photoshop to help me out (I believe it's an alpha channel problem). I have already added in photoshop some good HUD effects very similar to that futuristic tech style of Halo visors.
If you didn't find such a warning, chances are it works, so feel free to try it out.
It should work for everyone, but if it turns out that there are more problems than results I'll update the description and warn that it's not working. THIS MOD WAS MADE WITH PERSONAL USE IN MIND. I'll try to fix them if it's within my skills. If you have any problems, post a comment and I'll probably read it the day after you post it (European time-zone). I'm no good modder, but I log on the Nexus at least once a day.
If you already know how to use the GECK, a 2 minutes tutorial should suffice to teach you how to add this, there are plenty on YouTube so I won't write the procedure here. If you want to add this without replacing anything: just follow the Project Nevada tutorial on YouTube on how to add PN visors to helmets.ĬAREFUL: This second option requires both the GECK and some knowledge of form lists and the Geck in general. If you want to replace an existing overlay in Project Nevada: simply unpack my file, go into your Project Nevada installation folder and replace (backup the original) an overlay with this file.
There are a few ways to install this, depending on what you want to do: In my playthrough, I simply replaced Donta's overlay with this one cause it gives my small notebook monitor a bit of breathing space. Yes, it will work also on Fallout 3 since there's no esp/esm plugin, but you'll need the original HPOV mod for Fallout 3. This file is a Visor overlay I made for my personal HALO playthrough of New Vegas. Basic knowledge of the DATA folder of your game You can download both visors if you want to use them both at the same time, just remember to overwrite 2 different POVs in your Project Nevada folder. I've copied the exact same border from the interface of Halo 3 ODST using screenshots, that means that the helmet and the feeling will be almost the same! The difference is that I added a glass-like azure effect cause I think it looked cool and more realistic. With this alternate file, you'll get an ODST inspired visor. WHAT DOES THIS DO? This is an ALTERNATE file, the main HUD is inspired by a Spartan's helmet in Halo 4.
